The Ayatollah Of Rock 'n' Rollah I COMMITTED SUICIDE LAST THURSDAY

This bouncy rock classic takes you to the point of confusion between pleasure and pain, conscious and unconscious, alive and dead.

This is generally considered the definitive version - it has in fact been recorded three times (each with different lyrics). The original version was written and recorded in what The Ayatollah describes as his "confusion years". In 1993 (when out in Germany with Fußgängerzone), The Ayatollah recorded the second version in solitary confinement (the master tapes of this version have since been lost, and the track was never released - only a remixed version by Andrew Morrison remains, which included just the one sample of Rollah's voice). The third recording was done by The Ayatollah and his complete "ministry". This is the version he is most content with.
