Background:
Dave was signed up by Frostbyte Records in 1992, when Big Bad Fat Cat Benjamin returned from his lucrative meeting with Fußgängerzone in Germany, and found a demo cassette that Dave had posted to the label.  Benjamin was greatly impressed by Dave's "self mocking" parodic style of song writing, and his tenor-like, atonal vocal qualities.  Dave's lyrics were likened to method acting, in that he would go out, experience life, and then write about those experiences in an almost confessional style.  'I'm In Love With Margaret Thatcher' was Frostbyte's first charity record, and raised several hundreds of thousands of pounds for medical research into a rare disease known as "feedback syndrome", which two of Dave's closest friends had been diagnosed as suffering from.  In 1997, Dave provided guest vocals for The Celestial Anthropoids version of Underworld's 'Born Slippy', renamed 'Born Sh*tty'.  As if a man on a mission, he soon departed for the Amazonian rainforest in an attempt to find a natural cure for the paralysing feedback syndrome condition.  He is currently still out there continuing his quest for the much sought after cure.  A compilation album of his singles and remixes was released at the end of 1999, and shifted enough copies to fund his ongoing research...
