History
1994
The Celestial Anthropoids finally released
their second LP 'Existence' on the 10th January, 1994. This
album explored the ambient side of the band's music.
Later that year, Andrew Morrison brought
out 'Fraser'; a musical tribute to a long standing friend (released
27/6/'94).
In September Fußgängerzone came
up with 'Narcotica', the first of four singles to be taken from
the critically acclaimed 'I Was A Teenage Mr. Man' album, eventually
released in November. The album was the last material recorded at
Grolsch Studios in Hamburg by Fußgängerzone, as they moved to
Portsmouth shortly after completing the session. The other singles
were 'The Pros & Cons Of The Prodigy', 'A Rationale For Hating
Students' & 'I Like To Mumble'.

tape version of Fußgängerzone's highly rated 'I Was A Teenage
Mr. Man' album, released 7/11/1994.)
Dave's semi-autobiographical single 'I'm
Pissed' was another Dave/Andrew Morrison composition which emerged
in November.
In December, Andrew Morrison released the
Christmas double A sided 'Russel's Rap' / 'The Hitman Hill',
the later of which sampled the well known local DJ Aaron Hill. This
new sample based sounding Andrew Morrison was embraced by critics, who
had so far been nonplussed with his previous material.
